Another freaky animal we learned about in
primate class is the
aye aye. I barely have to say anything to outline the ways in which this little buddy is freaky.

They are nocturnal and have freaky hands. The narrow finger allows them to tap on tree branches to determine if there are larvae inside and then the longer one allows them to scoop out the foody worms.

They are also possibly the
most endangered primate in the world, with deforestation being a huge challenge for their habitat.
What a weird, wonderful world we live in. I love animals and plants.
