I love Jean Arthur. She's super in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, both in the stylishness of her hats and just how derned likable and funny she is.
It's such a small world. Wikipedia tells me that Jean lived in Washington Heights like me, and then later taught drama at CRD's alma mater, Vassar College.
She gives a pretty good civics lesson, too. Educational.

I'll never forget when Jean said to Charlton Heston, "but you're so damn ugly!"
This is great because now I can always remember, or go back and find out, who that lady is you like so much.
