I know this guy could eat her face and, as Isaac suggested, hock her camera for $50. But he doesn't. And that just makes me weepy at the wonder and kindness of animals.
I am kind of mushy about animals.

That seal acts just like my black cat. Both are very nice beasts.
Who is letting her get close to an elephant seal?! Who is encouraging it? Maybe the videographer really wants her dead.

Is everybody confusing elephant seals with leopard seals?
Erl used to be a park ranger and once had to rescue a park-goer from the jaws of an elephant seal.
Not once - frequently! People set their children next to elephant seals (and bears!) for the great photo op. Maybe it's a Darwin thing and I should leave well enough alone...
