Amber & Scones

I think scones might be my favorite food. I like all sweet kinds: blueberry and raspberry from Starbucks, cinnamon from Au Bon Pain, those little round plain ones from Trader Joe's, and most of all the ginger scones from Teaism.

They serve them at the shop with apricot jam and butter, but that's almost too much deliciousness to add to their already delicious state. They're just divine with Earl Grey.

Once, James made me scones at my house. They were super yummy and alot of hard work. Just like Snapshot Artifact.

Scones are one of those rare nice things to come out of England. Other nice things include America and Kate Bush. That's about it though.

Those were maple frosted scones we made from when the Barefoot Contessa was on Martha. They were yummy. Lots of sugar.

I bought a scone on the way home yesterday. I'm easily influenced. It was delish.

How were those scones you bought from Hawthorne Valley Farm?

Those Hawthorne Valley Farm scones were fantastic. I couldn't wait to eat mine for Sunday breakfast and instead had it as a snack on CRD's couch while watching the ELLEN sitcom. They were just the right amount of dry and crumbly. I hate bready scones.
